Ally Awareness

I consider myself to be an "Ally" when it comes to making the world a more inclusive and safe place. This means that I help those who lack privilege where I have an excess amount of it. For example, I have male privilege, but I staunchly support groups that advance the rights of women. I do what I can to help those who fight against sexism, ableism, ageism, etc. 

However, I am keenly aware of how much I don't know about being an Ally. I make mistakes. Constantly. I have to unlearn and relearn. Constantly. I find that becoming a better Ally means realizing how much I don't know about being an Ally.
